Oh how I will miss you.......

Spring Break!!!!!
I kind of extended our spring break into 2 weeks. My son's preschool had spring break the last week of March and my daughter's school had it the first week of April, soooo I decided that my son was just gonna have to miss 2 weeks of preschool cuz there is no way I am letting a precious spring break (only have 8 more left with my daughter before she is 18) pass with having to be tied down to the schedule of preschool.
So our 2 weeks could not have been more perfect.
We started by waking the kids up one morning and "kidnapping" them at 530am and taking them to IHOP in their PJ's. They ask every night when we are going to kidnap them again..LOL
We spent one day at my Grandmother's house making jam and canning it.Had a mommy daughter date at the American Girl Doll store. They were offering a FREE in store scavenger hunt and craft station. I thought it would be packed because it was spring break but there was hardly anyone. It was the most perfect date.
I finally finished reading this book with my daughter. Totally recommend it, however it is not Christian based, so there were I few things I skipped over, but the majority of the book was really awesome and the questions at the end of each chapter really opened up great conversation for my daughter and I to discuss real life situations.
Took my youth students to feed the homeless at a park near by. I really really love watching children become servants of the Lord. It was a really eye opening day for my students and for my self.
About 70 homeless people showed up to eat and we got to hold hands in a HUGE circle and pray before eating.
The hubby and I spent the entire day of Good Friday working in the yard;new soil, new plants, mowing, edging, and old TOMS. Of course we got cleaned up for our Good Friday service which is always one of my most favorite services of the year.Saw my niece on Easter and she somehow is as tall as me??? Not sure when that happened.
I picked up 3 bags of pizza dough at Trader Joe's and I think we made home made pizza almost every single day.
And if you haven't noticed by now with all my phone photos, I am now the owner of one of these bad boys.Might not be such a big deal to the average person but HUGE for me. Up until 2 weeks ago I have never had a phone that did anything besides texting; No data plan, no fun pictures, no games, no internet, nothing...I am in total heaven. And my kids think Siri is their new bf, I always catch them with my phone talking to her.lol.
My daughter has become a crazy reader over these past couple of weeks, I think she read like 4 books over spring break.
If you have made it this far through all my photos, this last one is special. I LOVE how much my 2 Grandma's LOVE seeing each other. They NEVER moved from this spot on Easter. They spent the whole 4 hours they were here, catching up with one another.
